Hand painted with the pattern of Blue Fluted Half Lace, the Tureen with Lid is an eye-catching serving bowl for soup and other dishes. Blue rays appear from the blue snail shell on the lid, continuing in floral elements winding around the fluted porcelain in a romantic style. The tureen holds up to 200 cl, and the lid has a small opening for the serving spoon. Blue Fluted Half Lace is adorned with delicate lace, elegantly framing the hand-painted motif and charming details of the collection such as snail shells on lids and handles. The collection is a beautiful and classic example of the Royal Copenhagen craftsmanship - it takes 1,197 brush strokes '“ no more, no less '“ to paint a Blue Fluted Half Lace dinner plate.
