The set of two commemorative plates marks the historic succession of King Frederik the 10th to the Danish throne on 14 January 2024. The royal monograms of HM The King and his mother, HM Queen Margrethe, and the writing on the plates are based om paintings originally done by hand in aquarelle, to give the blue colour a lively nuance.
