Few crafts in the world require the same dedication and precision as overglaze porcelain painting, where decoration is painted onto the glazed surface and fired several times until every nuance is perfected. Demanding both time and artistry, this process allows for extraordinary detail and depth of colour. At Royal Copenhagen only a few artisans master this rare skill, where every brushstroke transforms porcelain into something unique.

DUSTY ROSE
Rooted in the earliest palettes of violet and rose from Royal Copenhagen’s colour archive, this hue recalls the first bloom of cherry blossoms
HERITAGE BLUE
Since 1775, blue has been Royal Copenhagen’s signature colour. Throughout time, many shades of blue have come to life, each telling its own story. Heritage Blue is one of the historic shades now reintroduced in a deep, rich hue, reimagined for the present.
PURPUR
The purpur colour is one of Royal Copenhagen’s most precious overglaze colours, blended following an ancient recipe by one of the founders of the Royal Danish Porcelain Manufactory, Frantz Heinrich Müller
LAVENDAR HAZE
The gentle lavender shade is inspired by the rich colour archive of Flora Danica, home to a wide range of overglaze hues. A soft hue bringing calm and subtle elegance

From the moment your order is placed, up to two months may pass before your piece arrives, as time is devoted to meticulous painting and multiple firings at our porcelain factory
